Wheel Of Fortune host floored by contestant’s out-of-nowhere puzzle solve

Rory Cashin

“This game makes no sense at all!”

Going strong since 1975, Wheel Of Fortune is one of those shows that even if you’ve never seen an episode, you probably know all about it.

The big climax of each episode involves a Countdown-looking board with a hidden word, that kind of plays out like a big expensive game of Hangman, in which you’ve got a couple of letters to play with, and then you’ve to guess a famous saying or title or whatever.

Sounds simple enough, right? Well, it can be, if you manage to get more than four letters out of thirteen, spread across three words.

So things don’t look so great for contestant Jessie, when only the letters N C E and R resulted in hits, while S T L P D and O got nada.

You would think that there was simply no chance of getting it right.

And you, like us, would be very wrong in that assumption…

What… What just happened?

How did Jessie see the letters “C E R” in a row and now with all of the certainty in the world that it was “Juicer”? And then for the sentence to be Buying A Juicer? WHAT??

Host Pat Sajak looks flabbergasted as she lands the win, having little more to say that “This games makes no sense at all” (no arguments here) and giving winner (and obvious telepath) Jessie her big winning check and sending her on her way.

If there are any unsolved crimes out there, the police could do worse than maybe even check in with this lady and see if she can put these psychic powers to good use.
