Greatest Showman sequel

Fantastic news for fans of The Greatest Showman.

After earning more than $435 million at the box office, winning a Grammy Award, a Golden Globe, receiving an Oscar nomination, and becoming a beloved film, we always had an inkling that Hugh Jackman would be returning to the role of circus magnate P. T. Barnum.

After all, this is the greatest show!

Well, after dropping hints and teasing us all, it appears that show will go on because the director of the film, Michael Gracey, said in an interview that work has already started on a sequel.

“When a movie becomes as big a success as this, it’s only natural there is demand for a sequel. So those discussions have started and we are working on one right now,” he said.

Of course, earlier this week, Jackman reprised his role as the charismatic entertainer at the BRIT Awards and with sold-out shows in Dublin to come, it’s clear that fans can’t get enough.

At present, now further news about a release date for this sequel has been announced but we’re certain that those that loved the original will be itching to see it.
