Jamal Khashoggi has not been seen since last week.

Jamal Khashoggi, a well-known journalist and critic of the Saudi government, has not been seen since he attended Saudi Arabia’s consulate in Istanbul last week.

According to BBC, his fiancée fears that he has been kidnapped or killed, and a Turkish security source told the BBC that officials have audio and video evidence proving the killing.

This news has coincided with a massive WWE event that is set to take place on 2 November in Saudi Arabia.

Pressure has mounted on the WWE to cancel the event, or change the location of it, following the drama that currently surrounds the country of Saudi Arabia.

A representative for WWE released a statement to the media saying, “We are currently monitoring the situation”, which has left a number of fans unhappy.

People believe that no monitoring need take place, and that a company with so many young fans should not be doing business with a country that is being accused of such a heinous act.

This would be the WWE’s second show in Saudi Arabia of 2018. ‘The Greatest Royal Rumble’ ever took place in April, and that too had a great deal of controversy attached to it.

No women were allowed to compete at the event.

Even WWE’s most die-hard fans are now questioning why they are continuing to do business with Saudi Arabia, despite the numerous issues that come with it.

As it stands, “Crown Jewel” is due to stream live on the organization’s own WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view services outside of the Middle East.
