Movies on TV

It’s one of the funniest Irish shows in ages.

Fans of The Young Offenders have a rare opportunity to be a part of the show after an open call for extras was put out on the show’s Twitter account on Wednesday.

After a hugely acclaimed first season, Peter Foott’s comedy was renewed for a second season — which will be shown on RTÉ again this time around. The show hasn’t started filming for its second season yet, although the casting callout for extras would suggest that filming is going to start in late September.

The tweet reads: “Alright pals, we’re lookin for extras for some stuff we’re filming in late September and early October. Are ya interested? Have a look here http://vicofilms.com/extras/  and fill in your details. Legends!!”

The form on the Vico Films web page further confirms that the show is looking for extras of all ages.
