You know fookin’ nothing Jon Snow…
Rumours are circulating that Conor McGregor will take up a role in one of the two final seasons of Game of Thrones.
The Sunday Life, via Belfast Live, report that The Notorious will star in the show, joining the likes of Kit Harrington, Emilia Clarke and Hafþór “The Mountain” Björnsson.
A source told the paper: “It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones.
“He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.”
A rumour circulated before that someone who had been involved with Björnsson would be taking up a role in the show and this has further fueled speculation that McGregor will be that person.

The likelihood is that it will only be a fleeting appearance in the show should he star in an episode, a case of if you blink you’ll miss him.
Although we reckon with all that movement training he has done, he’d make a useful swordsman in a fight scene.
McGregor is currently embroiled in rumours of a fight with Floyd Mayweather after he gained a boxing licence for California.
He has also said in the strongest possible terms that he is still the featherweight champion in the UFC, despite the top brass stripping him of his belt.
“Eddie [Alvarez] is still unconscious, what do you mean?” McGregor said on Friday. ” I only fought last week. Them belts are mine. Whatever they want to say, and they can say, ‘Oh we took the belt and now it’s this guy’s belt,’ you can play with those fake belts all you want. Jose was KO’ed, Eddie was KO’ed, you’re looking at the two-weight world champion and that’s it. And that’s it. I’ll say to the UFC, and I love their company, you’re fooling nobody, you’re fooling nobody with that.”
Will he star in Game of Thrones? Who knows, but he should have plenty of acting experience considering he and Ragnar Lodbrok from Vikings are basically the same person.
