Reports suggest Conor McGregor will take up a role in Game of Thrones next season

Rumours are circulating that Conor McGregor will take up a role in one of the two final seasons of Game of Thrones. The Sunday Life, via Belfast Live, report that The Notorious will star in the show, joining the likes of Kit Harrington, Emilia Clarke and Hafþór “The Mountain” Björnsson. A source told the paper: "It's been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones. "He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show." Although we reckon with all that movement training he has done, he'd make a useful swordsman in a fight scene.
