Have you seen that weather? Grim. Avoid. Watch movies instead.

What to do with your wet and windy Tuesday?

You could check out The Irishman on the big screen, before it arrives on Netflix tomorrow?

Or, if you haven’t already, you can watch animated blockbuster Frozen II, or action thriller 21 Bridges, or any of the other new big screen releases that we review in full right here.

Or or, just sit in and watch one of these:

TUESDAY 26 NOVEMBER

Back To The Future Part II – Film4 – 6.50pm

The one in which they actually go to the future, as opposed to the past (the first one), or the very distant past (the third one). We still don’t have those flying cars or hoverboards, despite the fact it was set in the futuristic world of… 2015.

X-Men: The Last Stand – E4 – 8pm

This was the first time that the X-Men tackled the Dark Phoenix storyline (ahead of this year’s, eh, Dark Phoenix), in which Jean Grey succumbs to the powers of an extraordinarily powerful being and goes on a destructive rampage. More fun but far less intelligent than the two X-Men movies that came before it.

Bullitt – ITV4 – 9pm

Steve McQueen stars as a police officer who takes it upon himself to protect a witness from mobsters who want them dead. But really, you’re watching this for the iconic car chase, which still remains one of the very best in cinema history.

Tower Heist – Comedy Central – 9pm

Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy star in this action comedy about a group of hardworking men who are done out of their money by a shady business dude and decide to get revenge by robbing everything of value from his high-security penthouse.

Gods Of Egypt – Film4 – 9pm

Gerard Butler, Chadwick Boseman, Geoffrey Rush and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) star in this OTT sci-fi action adventure about gods battling each other… in space? We think. It doesn’t make a lick of sense, but it sure is funny to watch all these actors taking it all so seriously.

Scary Movie 2 – Comedy Central – 11pm

The sequel starts with James Woods getting horny as a priest while recreating the famous scene from The Exorcist. So… that should tell you everything you need to know about whether you’ll like it or not.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
