Late Late Show Valentine's Day

Know anyone who fits the bill?

A couple of weeks ago, we shared the news that RTÉ were looking for single people to appear in the crowd for this year’s Valentine’s Day edition of The Late Late Show.

And now they’ve gone one further with their request, as they are searching for Ireland’s greatest love stories.

Do you know any happy couples who would be willing to share how they met? Preferably not off Tinder, although that’s probably a safe bet for a lot of relationships these days…

Host of the TV show Ryan Tubridy spoke about exactly what they are looking for, saying: “We’re searching up and down the country for the most romantic tales of true love – and we want to hear from you!

“Maybe you’ve travelled the world but ended up falling head over heels with your next door neighbour, or maybe you’re celebrating a special wedding anniversary and would like to tell us where it all began – whatever your story is, we want to hear from you!”

To apply, simply e-mail [email protected] or post a letter to Greatest Love of All, Late Late Show, PO Box 170, RTÉ, Dublin 4.

If you’re even half as entertaining as Colette and Michael Lakes were last year, then you’d better get applying.

The episode will air on Friday, 8 February on RTÉ One, so it won’t even have to disrupt your Valentine’s Day plans. Perfect.
