This is really, really, really, ridiculously good news indeed.
Great news for Zoolander fans as male model Derek looks like he could be making his silver screen return with news of a sequel for the cult movie starring Ben Stiller and, of course, Will Ferrell as Mugatu.
Ferrell said “we are actually supposed to do a read-through of a sequel script soon, and Mugatu is a part of it”. Blue Steel enthusiasts all around the world (including here at JOE HQ) are already practising their pouts as they get ready to flex their handsome muscles.
Stiller is apparently working on the script with screenwriter and actor Justin Theroux, but the popular opinion currently is that Stiller will direct the film. Zoolander became a box-office smash when it was released back in 2001 and fans of the movie will be thrilled to hear of the news of a follow-up.
