The news has gathered a mixed reaction.

Hulk Hogan’s name will forever be synonymous with the WWE.

He elevated the company to a whole new level back in the 80s and is now an absolute megastar.

But his return to the WWE is not one that is necessarily being welcomed by fans.

A number of years ago, Hogan was suspended from the WWE Hall of Fame as a result of racist and hateful comments made towards black people.

He was caught on camera in using the N-word on a number of occasions in 2015 and 2016.

His reinstatement led three black wrestlers, who make up the faction ‘The New Day’, to pen a powerful message which condemned the WWE for their decision to reinstate Hogan.

This is why the news that he would be making an appearance on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw has not been received well by a lot of fans.

Certain fans are excited to see the return of a legend of the industry, but many feel that a modern, diverse WWE has no place for someone who has expressed the controversial opinions that Hogan has.

Hogan’s most recent appearance with the WWE was at an event in Saudi Arabia, which was also extremely controversial.
