Jamie Lee Curtis is not pleased with one person’s antics at the Golden Globes

She took to Instagram to voice her displeasure.

The Golden Globes went down on Sunday night, and it seemed like a fun event as a whole.

Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg’s opening monologue was a breath of fresh air (although some people weren’t too keen on it), and the awards themselves were a source of excitement throughout the night, as some results came as a shock.

But one person in particular was grabbing all of the headlines as people online reacted to the event.

Someone who will forever be known by the internet as Fiji Girl.

Fiji Girl appeared in the background of loads of celebrity pictures on the red carpet from the event, posing with bottles of Fiji water, and it all seemed like good clean fun at first.

But Jamie Lee Curtis has taken issue with what she referred to as “advertising” for the brand. You can have a look at her Instagram post, where she criticised what went down at the Golden Globes, here:

So, my husband, who doesn’t look at a lot of show business news sites, just mentioned that I was on the CNN website. I specifically moved away from the blatant promotions by Fiji and Moet where young women with their trays filled with their wares stood near a designated camera. I knew why there was a photographer poised there and I moved away as I said out loud that I didn’t want to be doing advertising for either. Clearly this angle shows that I moved from her being behind me and yet from the side it still happens. The sponsors of events need to get permission from people when they get them to take their picture next to products.
